I'm a PhD candidate at UC Berkeley.

I work in the NetSys Group on distributed systems, with a focus on fault diagnosis and networking technology for the developing world. I'm advised by Scott Shenker and Arvind Krishnamurthy. Recently, I also started working with George Necula.

In a previous life I studied philosophy and computer science at the beautiful University of Washington. I spent most of my time there working on Internet measurement and outage avoidance with Ethan Katz-Basset, Dave Choffnes, Arvind Krishnamurthy, and Tom Anderson.

I'm supported by an NSF Graduate Research Fellowship.
