One of the privileges at Berkeley is the opportunity to work with the worlds best minds.
I primarily conduct my resarch with graduate students (both doctoral and masters). All of them are fully supported by either a reserach grant or fellowship. Typically, I admit one or two new students to my group each year. If you are interested in such a position, please apply to the EECS department before contacting me.
Recently the numbers of emails from prospective students has been increasing substantially. As much as I would like to, I just cannot answer them all. Also please understand that that only the university can admit students and not individual faculty and use the process set up for admission. If you email me about admissions and do not get a response - this is why.
To inquire about opportunities for internships, post-doctoral research, or staff positions please peruse the information available on this site and the world-wide web and in your inquiry state specifically what you are trying to accomplish and why my laboratory is a good fit for your plans. I receive several requests per week and unfortunately do not have the bandwidth to answer requests that are not specifically targeted.
