I am a graduate student in the department of Electrical Engineering and Computer Sciences at UC Berkeley. I received my B.S. degree in Electrical and Electronics Engineering from Middle East Technical University, Ankara, Turkey. After graduating, I moved to Berkeley in 2010 and have been pursuing my PhD degree since then.

My research is in the area of MEMS and nanophotonics. I am working as a graduate student research assistant in Prof. Clark Nguyen's research group in collaboration with Prof. Ming Wu's group at UC Berkeley.

Micro-resonators and their applications in frequency references

Optomechanical oscillator design and fabrication

Phase noise in optomechanical oscillators

Coupling of micro-resonators for mechanical Q-boosting

High-Q GHz micro-resonators
