Biography

Sylvia Ratnasamy is an assistant professor in Computer Science where she focuses primarily on the design and implementation of networked systems. Prior to joining the EECS faculty in 2011, she spent a number of years as a senior researcher at Intel Research Berkeley. She received a Ph.D. in Computer Science from the University of California, Berkeley in 2002 and a Bachelors in Computer Engineering from the University of Pune, India in 1997.
