Hyun Oh Song

I'm a Ph.D. candidate in Computer Science at UC Berkeley and a member of Berkeley Vision Group and BVLC. My advisor is Prof. Trevor Darrell. My graduate study is supported by Samsung Lee Kun Hee Scholarship Foundation (Now Samsung Scholarship Foundation). Recently, I spent time at LEAR group, INRIA as a visiting student.

My research interests are in computer vision, machine learning, and optimization with an application focus in large scale object detection and recognition with parsimony. I also work in robotics.
