Biography

Richard Przybyla graduated summa cum laude with a B.S. degree in electrical engineering from Oregon State University, Corvallis, Oregon, in 2008. Since 2008, he has been with the Berkeley Sensor & Actuator Center at the University of California, Berkeley, CA, where he is pursuing his Ph.D. in electrical engineering in Professor Bernhard Boser's research group. His research focuses on design of airborne ultrasonic 3D range sensor systems which enable applications such as low power gesture recognition in a chipscale package. His other research interests include mixed-signal integrated circuits and micro-electromechanical systems.
