Spring Break in California Hey! For Spring Break I decided to explore the West Coast with two friends of mine: Danny and Martin. Here are some of the pictures: The first two days we stayed in San Francisco and went to visit Stanford University in Palo Alto. On our way to Las Vegas we passed farms in California and deserts in Nevada. Since there is not much going on during the day in Las Vegas we decided to go on a trip to the Grand Canyon, on the way back I took some pictures of the hotels during the day. Its not all about casinos in Las Vegas (where taking pictures is prohibited), there are also some nice bars, the last pictures are from the Ghostbar, which is on the top of the Palms hotel (55th floor). Los Angeles was a big disappointment, but here are some pictures from Santa Monica, Rodeo Drive and the hotel from "Pretty Woman" in Beverly Hills, nice houses in Bel Air, the UCLA campus, the Getty Center, Malibu with an authentical "Baywatch" life guard station, Venice Beach (the basketball courts where "White Men Can't Jump" was shot), and the Walk of Fame and the Kodak theater (with the red carpet for the Oscars) in Hollywood. On our way back from Los Angeles we took the scenic Route 1 (unfortunately the weather was cloudy) and stopped also in Santa Monica, before going to the Golden State Warriors vs. Dallas Mavericks game, where Dirk Nowitzki sprained his ankle so that I couldn't see him play a lot.
