Hi! I am a fourth year PhD student in the EECS department at UC Berkeley advised by Prof. Martin Wainwright and Prof. Kannan Ramchandran. I am working in the areas of machine-learning, statistics and game theory, with a focus on problems on crowdsourcing and human-computation. In the summers of 2013 and 2014, I interned at Microsoft Research, Redmond working with Denny Zhou in the machine learning group. Prior to joining Berkeley, I obtained my masters from the Indian Institute of Science, Bangalore, where I worked on coding theory and algorithms for distributed storage systems.

I have been awarded the Microsoft Research PhD Fellowship for 2014-16 (thanks, MSR!), and previously the Berkeley Felowship for 2011-13. I am co-organizing a Workshop on Crowdsourcing and Machine-learning at NIPS 2014: please consider submitting your latest works.
