Hi! I am a third year PhD student in the EECS department at UC Berkeley advised by Prof. Martin Wainwright and Prof. Kannan Ramchandran. I am working in the area of machine-learning, and in particular, problems on crowdsourcing and rankings. This summer I interned at Microsoft Research, Redmond working with Denny Zhou in the machine learning group. Prior to joining Berkeley, I obtained my masters from the Indian Institute of Science, Bangalore, where I worked on coding theory and algorithms for distributed storage systems.

I have been awarded the Microsoft Research PhD Fellowship for 2014-16 (thanks, MSR!). I am also co-organizing a Workshop on Crowdsourcing and Human-computation at ICML 2014.
