I'm currently a postdoctoral scholar in the Department of Electrical Engineering and Computer Sciences at the University of California, Berkeley. I work with James O'Brien in the Visual Computing Lab. My research interests are primarily in physically-based simulation of complex fluid and deformable systems for computer animation and other applications.
I did my Ph.D. in the Department of Computer Science at the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill. I was advised by Ming Lin as part of the GAMMA group. I defended my doctoral thesis, Visual Simulation of Multiscale Phenomena, in August 2010.
Before that, I graduated from the Indian Institute of Technology Delhi in 2006 with a B.Tech. in Computer Science and Engineering.
