I am member of the LoCal project and Wireless Embedded Systems group at U.C. Berkeley.  I am also an active member of the Institute of Eletrical and Electronic Engineers (IEEE) and the Association of Computing Machinary (ACM).

I am also a membor of the Computer Science Graduate Student Association (CSGSA) as President of the Faculty Candidate Committe, a member of the Latino(a) Association for Graduate Students in Engineering and Science (LAGSES), and a member of the Latino Alumni of MIT (LAMIT). I was also a member of the 2010 SIGMETRICS Shadow PC Committee and review papers for IEEE Pervasive Computing.
