I was born in Nanchang, Jiangxi, P.R.China. where most of my relatives (including my cousin) currently reside.

I moved to Beijing when I was four, and spent 10 years there. This is the place that I call home.

I spent two year in West Lafayette, Indiana for middle school and high school.

I moved to Minneapolis, MN with my family in 2000 and attended Roseville Area High School. I then became a student in the Institute of Technology at University of Minnesota.

In 2006, I moved to Berkeley, CA to study in the EECS Ph.D. program.



I keep a semi-regularly updated blog over here where I try to put my experiences and random thoughts into words (mostly Chinese words).


My interestes are diverse for I believe doing different things allow me to explore different part of my personality.
