Co-instructor for a 240-student class along with Dr. Gerald Friedland. Split lecturing two hours per week and wrote exams. The class is currently ongoing.

Summer 2013 [Instructor]

CS 61C, Great Ideas in Computer Architecture (Machine Structures), UC Berkeley
Summer instructor for a 150-student class during an eight-week session. Lectured six hours per week, managed six TAs and six Readers, generated homework assignments, modified projects, and wrote exams. Received an overall instructor rating of 5.9/7.0 on student evaluations.

Lab mentor for a local high schooler at JBEI, teaching biological lab techniques and research skills.

Summer 2013

Amgen Scholars Program, UC Berkeley
Co-mentor for a visiting undergraduate student through the Amgen Scholars Program. The student was given a project on simulation of self-sorting behaviors. We met weekly and the summer culminated in a poster and presentation to both my research group and the rest of the program.

Summer 2012

SUPERB-ITS, UC Berkeley
Co-mentor for a visiting undergraduate student through the Summer Undergraduate Program in Engineering Research at Berkeley - Information Technology for Sustainability. The student was given a stochastic modeling and simulation project to work on. We met weekly and the summer culminated in a poster and practice paper.
