I am a Ph.D. candidate in the department of Electrical Engineering and Computer Sciences (EECS) at the University of California, Berkeley (UC Berkeley). My area of study is Control, Intelligent Systems, and Robotics (CIR) on the EE side. I am part of the Networked Dynamical Systems Group under Professor Murat Arcak.
-- Graduated in May 2007 with dual B.S. degrees in EECS and Mechanical Engineering from UC Berkeley.
-- Graduated in May 2011 with M.S. degree in EECS from UC Berkeley.
-- Advanced to candidacy in May 2012, with expected graduation date of May 2014.
My general research interests are in synthetic biology and biological systems analysis.
Oddly enough, I have training in machine shop, electronics equipment, and some basic wetlab work.
In addition, I am heavily involved in teaching on campus within the EECS department.
