I am a postdoctoral researcher and recent Ph.D. graduate in the department of Electrical Engineering and Computer Sciences (EECS) at the University of California, Berkeley (UC Berkeley). I am part of the Networked Dynamical Systems Group under Professor Murat Arcak.
-- Graduated in May 2007 with dual B.S. degrees in EECS and Mechanical Engineering from UC Berkeley.
-- Graduated in May 2011 with M.S. degree in EECS from UC Berkeley.
-- Graduated in August 2015 with a Ph.D. degree in EECS from UC Berkeley.
My general research interests are in synthetic biology and biological systems analysis.
My research focus is engineered multicellular behaviors in bacteria, particularly pattern formation.
I have training in machine shop, electronics equipment, and wetlab work (genetic engineering).
In addition, I am heavily involved in teaching on campus within the EECS department.
