Nick Jalbert About

I am a 1st year PhD student at Berkeley. My current interest is program analysis with an eye towards finding and fixing bugs. I'm currently working on better ways to debug parallel programs (specifically targeting C/C++ programs which use Pthreads) with my advisor Koushik Sen in the Berkeley Parlab.

During summer 2009, I am coordinating the correctness group lunch.

As an undergrad at the University of Virginia, I worked with Wes Weimer. We came up with a way to save triage effort in bug tracking systems by automatically identifying duplicate bug reports. Check out our DSN '08 paper.
