Likely one of the most interesting things about me is that to a very loose approximation, I've lived here:

My list of places-lived usually prompts the "How many languages do you speak" question. I have spoken (in decreasing order of fluency): Spanish, Indonesian/Malay, Vietnamese, and Mandarin Chinese. I have also learned spotty bits of Japanese, Esperanto, and Italian.

Next most-interesting is that I started my undergraduate program at Harvey Mudd College. I spent about two years there before leaving to work at a dotcom in Santa Monica, CA by the name of PeopleLink (an Idealab! company). At that dotcom, I built the internal network and systems from the ground up to support a company that grew from 20 to 200+ employees in roughly a year's time. When I was laid off, I was 11th in terms of seniority among the employees.
