We are a project based out of the Berkeley Institute of Design at the University of California, Berkeley. The goal of this project is to create real impact in maternal and neonatal health in rural India by improving the efficacy of village-level health workers. Specifically, we believe that we can use mobile phones to target issues of training, credibility and accountability of these health workers such that they are better able to persuasively promote healthy behavior among women in their village.
