I am a research scientist in the Research group at Nvidia.

From 2011-2013 I was a postdoctoral scholar in the Graphics group at UC Berkeley working with Prof. Ravi Ramamoorthi.

In August 2011 I graduated with a PhD in Electrical and Computer Engineering from University of Maryland, College Park. I was a research assistant in the group of Prof. Rama Chellappa. I also collaborated with Prof. Ashok Veeraraghavan, then at MERL .

Prior to this, I obtained my bachelor's in Electrical Engineering from Indian Institute of Technology, Kanpur in 2005.

Broadly, my interests are in computer vision, signal processing and machine learning. Specifically, I am interested in computational imaging. For my dissertation I applied compressive sensing theory to design and build new computational cameras. Please look at my research and publications page for details.
