Chris H. Clifford

Short Biography

I was born and raised in St. Paul, MN (actually a suburb called Arden Hills).  I attended Mounds View High School, the high school serving the cities of Arden Hills, Shoreview, North Oaks and some of Vadnais Heights (ironically NOT the city of Mounds View). 

After graduating from Mounds View in 2001 I moved on to the University of Wisconsin—Madison.  There I began to study electrical engineering and discovered my interest in electromagnetics and its applications (thanks to Professors Anderson, Hagness and Vernon).  I graduated from UW in 2005 with “Highest Distinction”.  Even though I have left Wisconsin I still bleed Badger Red.

I have moved all the way from Madison to Berkeley.   My advisor is Prof. Andrew Neureuther and I am applying my knowledge and interest in electromagnetics to EUV lithography problems.  In my active free time I ride my bike and golf.
