- Schedule
-
Monday-Friday, 9:30am-6:30pm
These times are approximate. I usually login and read email from
home before I come into the office. The fastest way to reach me
is via email, see above.
In an emergency contact me either via email or call me at home
( use the "finger" command on a UNIX host ).
I am a staff member of the
Engineering Research Support Organization within the
EECS Department
at the
University of California at Berkeley.
I am a systems administrator at the
Berkeley Wireless Research Center,
providing research computing support.
Believe it or not, I do have a life outside of keeping the
computing environment in tip-top shape. In my "spare" time I enjoy:
Going to good movies. Yes, I do know this term is highly subjective, but
as far as I am concerned very few good movies come out of Hollywood.
Check out an excellent
movie database
site.
I listen to music as much as possible. You may peruse my
CD library
if you are curious about my listening tastes.
Hiking and exploring the Western U.S. deserts. If you've never walked or hiked
in the desert and are curious about this fragile environment then contact the
Desert Survivors,
a well established desert preservation advocacy group.
These folks know how to gingerly introduce people to desert environments
either via car camping, backpacking, or day hikes.
I have been building a hot rod since 2000. View my slow but sure progress
slide show.
I think everyone should introduce something humorous on their personal
WEB page. Wouldn't life be much more fun and less stressful if we
could all laugh a bit more? Here is my contribution to this philosophy.
Enjoy!
