Research Interests

My PhD work revolved around querying uncertain data in resource constrained settings, focusing on sensor networks as a specific application.

I enjoy problems that challenge my theoretical thinking, and combine elements from different areas. In general my research derives methods and techniques from database systems, graph and approximation algorithms, distributed algorithms and analysis of distributed systems, probabilistic inference and machine learning, routing algorithms, message passing and query processing.

Recently I have also developed an interest for computer animation, which I am currently pursuing as a side project.
