Anil Aswani

General Information:

I am currently a postdoctoral associate in Electrical Engineering and Computer Sciences (EECS) at UC Berkeley.

I received my Ph.D. in 2010 from UC Berkeley in EECS, and I was advised by Prof. Claire Tomlin. I also received a Designated Emphasis in Computational and Genomic Biology, which was advised by Prof. Peter Bickel in the Statistics Department.

My research focuses on designing new statistical, optimization, and control tools that utilize big data in order to generate empirical models of human-behavior within complex systems, which can then be used for better understanding, optimization, configuration, and design of these systems.
