EECS Visiting Industrial Fellows Program

Become A Visiting Industrial Fellow

The goal of the Visiting Industrial Fellows (VIF) program is to bring industrial fellows and university researchers together in a collaborative interaction for one year. In our Research Centers, you will work with the Center’s faculty members and are directly associated with on-going research.  You can also be involved in developing projects of mutual interest.

The Electrical Engineering and Computer Sciences Department at UC Berkeley is ranked within the top three universities in the United States, and one of the top five universities in the world of technology transfer.  EECS research has consistently developed leading industries and start-up companies in the area of technology. And, the distinction of the EECS faculty has been recognized in a long list of prestigious honors and awards world-wide.

As a VIF you will work with an EECS faculty member who will be directly associated with the research to develop projects of mutual interest and encourage the exchange of new insights, ideas, and knowledge during the time spent in residence.

Join the distinguished list of corporations that have sent VIF's to Berkeley.
