Bill Smillie

"Bill Smillie is one of the leaders of the Learning and Knowledge organization within IBM's Business Consulting Services. He is currently working on strategic initiatives related to Program/Project Performance and E-Business On Demand. He was a Management Consulting Services Partner with PricewaterhouseCoopers and led the development of Ascendant, PricewaterhouseCoopers' methods and tools used to plan and manage all consulting and implementation engagements. Additionally, he was PricewaterhouseCoopers' Partner in charge of Project Management initiatives worldwide.

Previously, he was the Quality Assurance Partner for the US-based IT Practice, and sponsored the development of many "best practices" initiatives in the field of project management performance. His insights are based on a 25-year career of both personally delivering project results and on reviewing and advising on the challenges faced by other professionals."
