Metamouse

Traditional Single Display Groupware solutions have been used to develop software for developing regions. This allows greater utilization of the limited infrastructure available in such an area. However, this technology does not currently work well with legacy applications, limiting its utility and adoption. Metamouse solves this, allowing for multiple users on existing software.
Metamouse does this by utilizing well known techniques in SDG systems, such as averaging mouse movements, as well as innovative new techniques, such as our click voting system. We conducted a light user study with educational software in schools around Bangalore, India, which supports our view of the value of metamouse.
