The material is similar to what we have covered in the past, however, because it is now available online and at their convenience we are hoping that students will find it is easier to access. In order to get to the link, students should log onto CalJobs and they will find a link in the bottom left-hand corner of the screen. I'm also including the link if you would like to view it: http://career.berkeley.edu/MM/successinterview/successinterview.html
This spring the Career Center is piloting "Resume Books" as another tool to aid students in the job search process. If you have students who you believe would be interested in uploading their resume to one of the books, please feel free to give them this link for more information: http://career.berkeley.edu/Jobs/ResBook.stm

Everyone is a leader. Whether it's through holding an office in an organization, taking an active part in a community, or being a good role model for others, we all have it within us to lead. It can be hard to see that potential within you, but it's there. The Blueprint Leadership Program exists to help you foster the emerging leader within so that you enhance your ability to serve. As a student, you came to this campus to learn and to make change. Take advantage of this cutting edge program and enhance your ability to make a difference in your community.
This year, I found myself involved Blueprint as a freshman. Blueprint has expanded my understanding of leadership and given me insight on the meaning and promotion of social justice. My involvement in this program has elevated my sense of community and helped me feel more at home at UC Berkeley. The Blueprint Leadership Program is a yearlong leadership experience, creating diverse a network of students and leadership coaches. Through a series of fascinating workshops, small group interactions, one-on-one leadership coaching, and the creation of a social justice project, students will graduate from the program with a better understanding of the leader within and how to make a positive impact in the world.
So I encourage you to seize this opportunity. For more information, feel free to explore the Blueprint Leadership Program website at http://blueprint.berkeley.edu or contact us at if you have any questions. We hope to see more of you!
