Summer Software Internship--located in San Francisco
Summer Software Internship
We’re a successful startup looking for a summer intern to work with and learn from our strong development team as we expand the functionality of our platform. Using advanced analytics, PopularMedia’s patent-pending technology platform allows customers to create, measure, and optimize social media and word of mouth marketing campaigns. In other words we’re applying real science to the space where social networking and marketing collide. As part of a collaborative team working on a 2 week Agile cycle, you’ll be responsible for coding and testing components of PopularMedia’s social media marketing platform - a product used by switched on brands to touch lots of end users. We’ve got an innovative, fast-paced environment. You’ll get to do some cool stuff and you won’t be bored.
You’re working towards your BSCS or MSCS or similar and have some sort of real programming experience. Maybe you’ve done something with Ruby on Rails. Or maybe it’s Perl experience you have or maybe it’s more like HTTP/JavaScript/Ajax. Point is you’ve done something and you have the ability to apply academic concepts to real life problems and software development. And of course you’ve got the motivation/energy level to thrive in a startup environment. Based in San Francisco and backed by Sequoia Capital, PopularMedia is all about fostering creativity and innovation. Be part of something big and learn something cool this summer.
