2013 Internship Open House

Information for participating companies:

Registration

There is no registration fee for SILA members. As of December 12, 2012, if space is still available, registration will be opened to non-ILP companies who have expressed interest. $500 registration fee for non-SILA companies.

We will provide one six foot table with a maximum of 3 representatives, a white table cloth, a box lunch, and refreshments for each representative.

Payment may be made by check. Please make checks payable to the Regents of the University of California and send it to:

Materials Storage and Shipping

For those of you who wish to send your materials ahead of time, contact Chelsea Groen directly to inquire about shipping address, dates, and payment information at least 10 days prior to your event.

UC Berkeley Central Moving & Event Services in Richmond

There are moving and administrative fees for using the Berkeley Services. Their movers are billed at an hourly rate of $77.00 per hour plus our standard $65.00 administrative fee. Each vendor will be billed NO LESS than a base administrative fee of $65.00 plus the moving costs per box which will be split between the total number of boxes moved to the fair.

Please also let UC Moving Services know if you need your packages to be picked up for return shipment and follow their instructions about pre-paid shipping label, etc.

Please do not contact Industrial Relations office about the shipping as Berkeley Moving Services require companies to contact them directly.

Student Resume Database

Student resumes will be collected by the EECS Center for Student Affairs and Open House participants will receive resumes in the middle of January, 2013.

Parking for the main conference in the Chevron Auditorium, International House

Underhill Lot

Located at the corner of Channing and College, this lot is a 5-10 minute walk from I-House. The lot is open to the public. Park on any level, note your space number and pay at the machines next to the elevator.

Prospect Court Lot
Located up the hill and behind I-House - a short but steep walk. From Piedmont Ave. one block south of International House, turn east on Channing, left on Prospect, and enter the parking lot. Open to the public on weekends and after 5 pm, pay at the yellow pay station. Park in the unreserved spaces in center or east rows (NOT in the west row). Note: This lot may be closed due to stadium construction.

Boalt Law School Lot
This is the closest public parking to I-House. From Hearst Ave., turn right on Gayley. Immediately past the Haas School of Business, turn right and then left into the lot. Directly ahead you will see a yellow pay station. Open to the public on weekends and weeknights after 5 pm.

Kroeber Lot (Tennis Courts)
This is also close to I-House but more expensive. Located on Bancroft, west of College Ave. and across the street from the Berkeley Art Museum. Open to the public on weekends and weeknights after 5 pm. Pay at the yellow pay station.

Public Lots next to the Berkeley Art Museum on Bancroft and below Inkstone on Bowditch.
