2012 Internship Open House

Information for participating companies:
Registration
There is no registration fee for ILP members. As of December 12, 2011, if space is still available, registration will be opened to non-ILP companies who have expressed interest. $500 registration fee for non-ILP companies.
We will provide one six foot table with a maximum of four representatives, a white table cloth, a box lunch, and refreshments for each representative.
Payment may be made by check. Please make checks payable to the Regents of the University of California and send it to:

Materials Storage and Shipping
For those of you who wish to send your materials ahead of time, contact Chelsea Groen directly to inquire about shipping address, dates, and payment information at least 10 days prior to your event.

UC Berkeley Central Moving & Event Services in Richmond
There are moving and administrative fees for using the Berkeley Services. Their movers are billed at an hourly rate of $77.00 per hour plus our standard $65.00 administrative fee. Each vendor will be billed NO LESS than a base administrative fee of $65.00 plus the moving costs per box which will be split between the total number of boxes moved to the fair.
Please also let UC Moving Services know if you need your packages to be picked up for return shipment and follow their instructions about pre-paid shipping label, etc.
Please do not contact Industrial Relations office about the shipping as Berkeley Moving Services require companies to contact them directly.
Student Resume Database
Student resumes will be collected by the EECS Center for Student Affairs and Open House participants will receive resumes in the middle of January, 2012.
Parking
The MLK Student Union is on the south side of the Berkeley campus at the corner of Bancroft Way and Telegraph Avenue. The entrance is at the east end of the building, facing Upper Sproul Plaza. The most convenient parking lot is the MLK Student Union Garage beneath the MLK Student Union. The entrance to this garage is on the north side of Bancroft Avenue, just west of Telegraph Avenue. The daily parking rate is $18.
After you park, look for the “MLK Student Union” sign at the East Wall of the garage. Then go up 4 steps, enter a big grey door. There will be 2 elevators on your left. Take the elevator to the 3rd floor. Internship Open House registration desk will be on your right when getting off the elevator.
Directions to the MLK Student Union Garage:
From San Francisco / SF Airport / SF Peninsula (via 101 North):
Exit to San Francisco/Oakland Bay Bridge
Exit to 80 East (after crossing Bay Bridge)
Take University Avenue exit; head east for approximately 1.5 miles
Turn right on Oxford Street
Turn left on Durant Avenue
Turn left on Telegraph Avenue; move into right lane
Turn left on Bancroft Way
Turn right into MLK Jr. Student Union Garage (just past bus stop)From Oakland / Oakland Airport / San Jose (via 880 North):
Exit to 980 (becomes 24 East after crossing 580)
Take Claremont Avenue exit; turn left on Claremont Avenue
Turn left on College Avenue
Turn left on Bancroft Way
Turn right into MLK Jr. Student Union Garage (just past bus stop after crossing Telegraph Avenue)
From Walnut Creek / Concord (via 24 West):
Take College Avenue exit (exit runs along Miles Avenue--College begins at first traffic light)
Turn right on College Avenue
Turn left on Bancroft Way
Turn right into MLK Jr. Student Union Garage (just past bus stop after crossing Telegraph Avenue)From Davis / Sacramento (via 80 West):
Take University Avenue exit; head east for approximately 1.5 miles
