Information for ILP Member CompaniesThe University of California, Berkeley EECS Internship Program places top
Berkeley EECS students in competitive and challenging summer assignments
in industry. The program was established in 1989 with the goal of professionally
developing our students prior to graduation. Our mission is to serve both
the students of the Berkeley EECS department as well as the high tech companies
that participate in EECS industrial programs.
If your company seeks a closer relationship with the talent of Cal EECS majors,
read on! EECS Member companies get the following benefits : 1) Direct contact to Berkeley EECS students. 2) Widespread
publicity: The program is coordinated through the EECS Center for Student Affairs– located at the heart of the Berkeley EECS community. Center
staff provide publicity at the department level, utilizing banners,
flyers, webpages, email and informational workshops to inform and prepare
students to apply for the program. Each
year hundreds of students attended the EECS Internship Open House. 3) Assistance with information sessions and possible student interviews on campus. 4) Feedback from interns highlighting their experiences. For more information please contact Rachel Schafer or Rebecca Miller. |
