Reapplying To Our Program
We keep all materials for 2 years. If you applied to our program for Fall 2011 or Fall 2012 we still have the materials you submitted. There is no need to send us these materials again.
Your previous application will be linked to your new application. You must, however, submit a new online application. The deadline to submit an online application for Fall 2013 is December 13, 2012 at 11:59:59 pm Pacific Time. Supporting data, such as transcripts, GRE and TOEFL scores and recommendation letters, can arrive as late as January 3, 2013 at 11:59pm Pacific Time. For more information about applying, please see http://www.eecs.berkeley.edu/Gradadm.
Directions:
- Fill out a new online University application at: http://www.grad.berkeley.edu/admissions/online_app_inst.shtml.
- Submit at least one new letter of recommendation online. For Fall 2013 recommendation letters can be submitted through Interfolio.
- Submit a new statement of purpose and/or personal history statement online if you have new interests or experience not included in your previous application.
- Pay the application fee. Fee waiver information can be found at: http://www.grad.berkeley.edu/admissions/before_begin.shtml#6.
- Submit new transcripts of work that was in progress at the time of your previous application, such as final B.S. or M.S. transcripts. Do not mail hardcopy transcripts. Unofficial transcripts should be uploaded using the instructions in the online application.
- You old test scores will be added to your application as long as they fall within the accepted date range. For more information, please see: http://www.eecs.berkeley.edu/Gradadm/RequiredData.htm.
All connections for reapplications/reactivations (addition of the old documents to the new applications) will be made in December and early January.
