Though we can offer a couple of suggestions, please keep in mind that with any SOP you write, there is no formula to follow.

  • Keep your essay down to 1-2 pages double-spaced.
  • Highlight some of your leadership experience.
  • Why would you be a good fit for this program? (Remember, we're looking for leadership experience and entrepreneurial spirit. What sets you apart?)
  • Give us your reason(s) for applying.
  • Explain your intended focus and what you would do with an M.S.
