Faculty Positions Available for Fall 2016
Apply for a posted faculty position in COMPUTER SCIENCE as tenure-track Assistant Professor, beginning July 1, 2016. Appointee will perform original research in their field of speciality and teach undergraduate and graduate EECS courses.
Applicants should have completed (or expect to complete within one year of appointment) a Ph.D. or the equivalent in Computer Science, Electrical Engineering or a related field. Additional qualifications include evidence of ability to establish and pursue a program of high quality research and a strong commitment to graduate and undergraduate teaching.
Online application is strongly recommended. Applicants should submit / upload a resumé, a statement of research, a statement of teaching, the names and e-mail addresses of 3 references who will send – upload – reference letters at a website that will be emailed to you following your application submission, and up to 3 publications. Applicants may also submit optional cover letter and/or diversity statement (statement addressing past and/or potential contributions to diversity through research, teaching, and/or service) if they wish.
Applications will be reviewed starting November 16, 2015; candidates are urged to apply by that date. The application period closes January 4, 2016. Applications received after that cannot be considered. Applicants are responsible for asking recommenders to upload letters. EECS does NOT solicit them directly. Reference letters should be uploaded by January 8, 2016, directly via a "URL for recommenders" which will be provided to references by the applicant.
