This is the homepage of Vincent Duindam, postdoctoral researcher at the University of California at Berkeley. I work in the Department of Electrical Engineering and Computer Sciences with Prof. Shankar Sastry, Prof. Ken Goldberg, and Prof. Ruzena Bajcsy. My research interests include surgical robotics, robotic locomotion, geometric mechanics, computer vision, and augmented reality.
In March 2006, I completed my Ph.D. degree with prof. Stefano Stramigioli at the University of Twente in the Netherlands. My thesis project was part of the European project Geoplex and dealt with modeling and control of efficient bipedal walking robots. See my research page for details.
