About me
I was born N.R.Satish in the city of Chennai, the capital of the South Indian state of Tamil Nadu.
I completed my high school in Chennai and proceeded to Kharagpur, in the state of West Bengal. I spent four wonderful years there in the company of my wing and department mates. Here's a link to where the 2003 CSE IIT KGP batch wound up. After graduating with a bachelors degree, I found myself pursuing doctoral studies at UC Berkeley.

Miscellaneous Stuff
The first question most people ask when they meet someone is "What's your name?". When I'm asked that question, I usually say Satish. The next question usually is "And whats your last name?". Here's a link to a humorous article from Ramesh Mahadevan about how difficult it is for some people(including me) to answer that question.
