These set of directions are intended for students who want to access EE software resources at home or from other computers on campus.

What you need:

VPN:

You may need to use VPN to access network resources if you are not one of Berkeley's networks.

Mac OSX users:

Download and install RDC for Mac from here

Remote Desktop Connection

Use a Remote Desktop Connection to login to one of the instructional Windows servers:

iserver1.eecs.berkeley.edu
iserver2.eecs.berkeley.edu
iserver2.eecs.berkeley.edu

   

Login using your EE login and password (assigned on sheets given out in Lab or Discussion sections). Change the domain to EECS.

 

MultiSim

MultiSim may be found under Start->Programs->National Instruments->Circuit Design Suite 10.0->Multisim

Saving Files:

Save files to the network U drive so they will not be deleted when you log off.

If you have any trouble accessing the network, contact your discussion or lab assistant.
