Information for Prospective Graduate Students

Although I do not have time to respond to each individual inquiry into research opportunities with me, I would like to provide prospective students with the following information:

Hard-working and highly motivated students who are interested in research in the broad area of integrated-circuit devices and technology, who have been admitted into the EECS graduate program, are always welcome to talk with me about research opportunities!  Ideally, you should have some background in integrated-circuit devices (EE130) and microfabrication technology (EE143).

Admission into the EECS graduate program is very competitive, particularly for international students.  For further information regarding the admissions process, visit the EECS Graduate Admissions Home Page.  Please note that all admitted students are offered financial support (in the form of a fellowship or teaching assistantship or research assistantship), so that financial support should not be a concern.
